The mandate of The Deer Wood Trust as a C.I.C. is to provide inclusive social outreach programmes to the local and wider community.
We are committed to our conservation work and this is made possible through the generosity of both time and funding from many different organisations and individuals.
Donation based Community Activities
One-off Donations Via Paypal
Bequeaths & Regular Direct Debits
We hold regular donation entry community events such as our Personal Off-grid Tours, Voice & Drum In the Woods and the annual Bluebell Open weekend.
People can make direct donations using the Paypal link to The Deer Wood Trust Triodos Bank account.
Bequeathing a donation in your will or setting up a regular direct debit via BACS. (Please contact us directly for the bank account details).
All proceeds from sales of our native trees go straight back into the conservation work we do at Deer Wood. The nursery is run by Marc & Lisa purely through voluntary work and the help of regular volunteers.

In Loving Memory - Wilja Witcombe
We have been privileged to have had the support of some very special people who believe in the work we do. One of whom was a former Trustee, Wilja Witcombe who sadly passed in 2022. She had secretly bequeathed Deer Wood a sum of money which we received in mid-2023 and enabled us to add all-weather walls to the Outdoor Circular Shelter. Her legacy also lives on in the revenue from her book sales which she signed over to The Deer Wood Trust.
