With 20 years of experience as a Food Teacher and having turned to a vegetarian diet at the age of 16, then vegan in 2017, in-house tutor Lisa has a wealth of knowledge to share.
As a lead teacher in sustainability, in 2020 she designed a year-long course - 'The Carbon Footprint Buster Challenge'. This gives practical advice and achievable actions that can help to reduce your carbon footprint.
She is eager to combine all she has learnt to gently inspire others to actively change habits to enable them to more confidently make Earth-friendly choices in their daily lives.

Lisa welcomes small groups of up to 8, (families with children 8yrs+) to enjoy discovering just how tasty and varied a plant-based diet can be.
FOOD COURSES FOR OUR TARGET BENIFICIARIES
As part of our commitment as a C.I.C. to the well-being of both people and the planet, we are actively seeking funding to be able to either partially subsidise or fully fund our main target beneficiaries, (low-income families and refugees), to be able to attend tailor-made sustainable food and lifestyle courses.

We will be running a 12 hr course over a 4-week period every summer from 2024 onwards - our first course will be funded by The Co-Op Local Community Fund.
