DEER WOOD BLUEBELL OPEN WEEKEND 2026 – this year’s theme is ‘Doorways’

DEER WOOD BLUEBELL OPEN WEEKEND
25th-26th April
10.30 am – 6.00 pm
This year’s theme is
DOORWAYS
We welcome the local and wider community to join us to celebrate nature at its beautiful best.
Enjoy a magical walk during Bluebell season in this peaceful haven.
This year, we have invited fellow eco-artists to showcase their work to create sculptures, hangings and (fairy) houses using only natural materials and to the theme of ‘Doorways’.
The Bluebell Walk
For all our younger visitors, there will be a few surprises hidden amongst the flowers, trees, on the ground and in the air along the walk, so do keep your eyes peeled for some magical doorways and portals.
At the end of your walk, we will be delighted to answer any questions about the range of courses and Day Immersions being run here this year, so please feel free to have a chat and a fresh cup of herb tea and enjoy some fresh wild food nibbles and plant-based delicacies. Plus, we have Deer Wood artwork, cards, mugs, t-shirts, potted native trees and bamboo birdboxes available for sale.
If coming by car, please email to book a parking time slot, as we are limited to 5 spaces. (See times in the chart below.)

Alternatively, if you love to ramble, then there is an overflow car park near the top of the lane, first left after the Loddiswell Business Park entrance – there is no need to book to use this extra facility, and as there is no time restriction, you can stay as long as you wish.
It is approximately 2/3rds of a mile down the lane to get to Deer Wood.
